CDC: National Prevention Intervention Network (NPIN)
The CDC National Prevention Information Network's services are designed to facilitate the sharing of HIV/AIDS, STD, and TB resources and information. NPIN provides information on disease prevention and focuses on the link between HIV, STDs, and TB. NPIN produces several video teleconferences on HIV/STD/TB annually. NPIN also produces fact sheets that provide an overview of important issues related to disease prevention, including surveillance, targeted prevention efforts in at-risk communities, and CDC prevention strategies. Updates often accompany an important report or journal article and supply additional information about a topic.
